Shari Larson graduated from the University of Virginia in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2008, Ms. Larson obtained a Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate from Widener University. In 2009, she earned her Paralegal Certificate with a concentration in litigation from Widener University. In 2016, Ms. Larson completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University.
She has been a licensed registered nurse since 1989 with years of varied nursing experience.
Ms. Larson serves as a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified® subject matter expert and assists in the development of the LNCC examination®. The LNCC® is recognized by the Accreditation Board of Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC), the only accrediting body specifically for nursing certification.
Ms. Larson taught legal nurse consultant courses at Widener University’s Legal Education Institute and Widener Law School in the Masters of Jurisprudence program from 2011 until 2016. In 2016, Ms. Larson became a clinical adjunct nursing professor of obstetrical nursing for Lincoln University’s baccalaureate nursing program.
Shari Larson is an actively licensed registered nurse in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland and her areas of nursing practice include obstetrics, critical care, medical surgical nursing, and post-anesthesia care. Ms. Larson has worked as a legal nurse consultant at Messa & Associates since January of 2008 and has been an employee of Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital since 2010.
