Vincent S. DiCioccio

Vincent S. DiCioccio received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1983 from Drexel University. He attended graduate school and was a transportation engineering teaching assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at Drexel University and received his Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1985. Mr. DiCioccio’s specialization was transportation engineering. He was employed by the City of Philadelphia as an airfield inspector at Philadelphia International Airport where he gained valuable insight in airport operations. He received his Juris Doctor in 1991 from the Widener University School of Law, where he was awarded an American Jurisprudence award in legal research and writing. He also attended the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program and the Advanced Trial Advocacy Program. He was admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania in 1992 and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in that same year. In 1996 he was admitted to the United States Supreme Court.

Aviation

Mr. DiCioccio practices in all phases of aviation and transportation law including representing individuals as plaintiff in wrongful death actions and product liability cases arising out of aircrash and transportation accidents. He has been actively involved in cases like the United Airlines 585 crash over Denver Colorado and the Air China 129 crash over Korea and many other general aviation accidents occurring in the continental United States. He has conducted aircrash investigations and wreckage evaluations of surface transportation accidents of highway and rail vehicles. He has also participated in accident reconstruction of major transportation accidents. Mr. DiCioccio brings both legal and technical expertise to evaluate and represent his clients more effectively. His combination of specialized transportation engineering background and legal skill is critical to the forensic evaluation and successful representation of his clients.

Estate

Mr. DiCioccio also practices in all phases of estate planning and estate and trust administration in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties. In fact, Mr. DiCioccio has been appointed Administrator by the Register of Wills in many circumstances where an independent and seasoned attorney was necessary to bring order to contentious estate settlements. He attends the Estate Law Institute on a yearly basis and brings a high degree of competence and prudence to his estates practice.

Mr. DiCioccio is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Probate and Trust section, as well as Delaware County Bar Association, Probate and Trust Section and the Montgomery County Bar Association, Probate and Trust Section and The Engineer’s Club of Philadelphia.
