The personal injury attorneys<\/a> at Messa and Associates<\/strong> were made aware of a massive recall of Graco strollers on November 20, 2014 due to a potential fingertip amputation hazard.\u00a0 All together there are 11 models included in the recall which were manufactured between August 2000 and September 25, 2014.\u00a0 The strollers were sold across the United States, Canada and Mexico at Target, Toys R Us, Walmart among other retail stores as well as online through Amazon.com.<\/p>\n

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission <\/a>(CPSC) the folding hinge on the side of the stroller can pinch a child\u2019s finger.\u00a0 The CPSC is reporting 11 injuries including 6 finger amputations, 4 partial amputations and 1 finger laceration.\u00a0 The danger arises when the hinges are not fully locked prior to putting a child in the stroller. To best protect everyone caregivers should not only insure that the hinge is fully locked but also remove a child from the stroller immediately if it begins to fold.<\/p>\n
