The manufacture date code in the format REV: 00 YYMM is on a label attached to the cord.\u00a0 While no injuries were reported in the United States or Canada Lenovo did receive notice of 15 incidents throughout the world of sparking, melting, or burning.\u00a0 Luckily, no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Lenovo Inc., of Morrisville, NC, is offering free replacement cords to all consumers affected by this recall. \u00a0Replacements can be arranged by calling <strong>(800)426-7378<\/strong> between 9am and 5pm ET or visiting their<b>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/support.lenovo.com\/us\/en\/powercord2014\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a><\/b>. \u00a0From the main page consumers can also click on the support button then through News and Alerts to
