The Consumer Products Safety Commission<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(CPSC) reported on May 21, 2015 a recall of OXO Nest Booster Seats<\/strong>.\u00a0 Over 25,000 seats in the United States and 130 in Canada were recalled due to a potential fall hazard that is caused by the loosening of the safety straps.<\/p>\n

OXO<\/a>, of El Paso Texas, is reporting that the restraint straps can loosen and separate from the seat raising the risk of a child falling. At this point five incidents have been reported where the stitching has come undone, releasing the straps.\u00a0 All of these incidents have followed a child pulling or an adult tightening the straps.\u00a0 Luckily, no injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n

The OXO Nest Booster seats were sold from September 2014 through April 2015 at buybuy Baby, Toys \u201cR\u201d Us\/Babies \u201cR\u201d Us and specialty stores as well as on Amazon.com. Included in the OXO recall includes model 6367200 (green), 6367300 (pink), 6367500 (taupe) and 6367400 (orange).<\/p>\n
