{"id":378,"date":"2015-06-26T15:21:03","date_gmt":"2015-06-26T18:21:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/?p=378"},"modified":"2015-06-26T15:21:03","modified_gmt":"2015-06-26T18:21:03","slug":"lululemon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/lululemon\/","title":{"rendered":"Lululemon Recalls 300,000 Women&#8217;s Tops Due to Injury Hazard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A quick note of warning for all those lululemon lovers out there- <strong>over 300,000 women\u2019s tops have been recalled due to injury hazards<\/strong>.\u00a0 The<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Consumer Product Safety Commission<\/a> <\/strong>(CPSC) reported on June 25, 2015 that the company has received reports of injury due to the elastic draw cord found in many of their women\u2019s jackets and pullovers that have been on the market since 2008.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shop.lululemon.com\/?\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lululemon athletica<\/strong> <\/a>of Vancouver, British Columbia has received reports of seven incidents where the elastic draw cord around the hood or neck has snapped back and caused injury to either the consumer&#8217;s face or eye. It seems that the hard tip found on the drawstring\u00a0can get caught or pulled then snap back and surprise an unsuspecting person. Altogether 133,000 tops in the United States and 185,000 tops in Canada have been tied to this recall. The 19 various styles were sold at lululemon stores and online from January 2008 through December 2014.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/info.lululemon.com\/content\/dam\/lululemon\/ssc\/web_content_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-380 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lululemon-1024x481.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"481\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lululemon-1024x481.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lululemon-300x141.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a>Consumers who have purchased the affected tops are advised to not wear the clothing until proper corrections have been made. One option is to remove the cord before wearing again.
