Documents filed by Kia with various United States safety regulators say that the cars can roll away unexpectedly and have caused three injuries, so far. <\/p>\n<p>The recall includes model years 2011-2013. Investigations into the defect began in August after Kia was contacted by an attorney, claiming that a child moved the gear shift out of park and the car rolled, causing injury. <\/p>\n<p>Kia has plans to replace the defective interlock mechanism in all recalled vehicles.
