When the cars brake with a turn signal on, the inner, bumper-mounted brake light will go out. <\/p>\n<p>NHTSA warned drivers on their website, \u201cIf the brake light does not illuminate when a turn signal is activated, other drivers may be confused, increasing the risk of a crash.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dealers will reprogram the vehicles to correct brake lighting at no charge to car owners. The recall is scheduled to begin May 22nd.
