More than 3,000 units have been imported into the United States. While many hoverboards have been reported to catch fire while in use or while plugged into an electrical source to charge, LayZ Board brand boards are the first to be officially linked to fire deaths. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/LayZBoard-sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"428\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-821\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/LayZBoard-sm.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/LayZBoard-sm-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><br \/>\nThe CPSC is urgins consumers of ALL AGES to stop using and charging their LayZ Board brand hoverboards. Consumers who wish to dispose of the boards are instructed to take them to a local recycling center for safe and proper handling of the lithium-ion battery.
