Obviously, a parked truck that can start rolling at any minute is a serious danger and poses a great risk for crash. So far, the defect is potentially linked to seven injuries and what the automaker is calling a &#8220;small number&#8221; of accidents. <\/p>\n<p>Trucks affected by the recall include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2010-2017 Ram 2500 Pickup<\/li>\n<li>2010-2017 Ram 3500 Pickup<\/li>\n<li>2010-2017 Ram 4500 Chassis Cab<\/li>\n<li>2010-2017 Ram 5500 Chassis Cab<\/li>\n<li>2016-2017 Ram 3500 Chassis Cabs (less than 10k lbs)<\/li>\n<li>2009-2017 Ram 1500 Pickups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Only trucks equipped with with a steering column-mounted shifter are involved. All 2017 trucks built after December 31, 2016 are excluded. <\/p>\n<p><strong>RESOLUTION<\/strong><br \/>\nTo fix the defect, RAM plans to restore the faulty interlock to ensure proper shifting.
