The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US Consumer Product Safety Commission<\/a> (CPSC) explains in its recall announcement that pins on one end of the lamp can be energized during installation or removal, posing dangerous hazards of shock and\/or electrocution. Fortunately, the CPSC has received no reports of injury. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/lamp-bar-code.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"139\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-965\" \/>Tube lamps involved in the recall include GE Lighting&#8217;s 31243 LED13T8U840 LED two-pack tube lamps. The GE logo and model number are printed on a label near the tube&#8217;s base. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/GE-tube-lamp.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/GE-tube-lamp.png 240w, https:\/\/www.messalaw.com\/recall\/wp-content\/uploads\/GE-tube-lamp-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These lamps, which are most often used in basements, workshops, and garages, were sold at Lowe&#8217;s stores nationwide and on Lowes.com from November 2017 to April 2018 for around $15.
