Philadelphia Personal Injury Attorneys at Messa & Associates, P.C. recently learned via the Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC) of a recall including a toy found in McDonald’s Corp. Happy Meals and Mighty Kid’s Meals that poses risks of choking and aspiration. The “Hello Kitty Birthday Lollipop Whistles” were distributed across the United States and Canada between October and November 2014.
The recalled product, manufactured in China, features Hello Kitty on both sides holding a lollipop and stands 3 inches high, 3 inches wide, and 1 ¾ inches deep. Attached to the figurine is a whistle that can be removed and makes sounds when exhaling or inhaling through the mouthpiece.
