GBG Accessories Group has recalled two styles of Ivanka-Trump branded scarves for failing to meet federal flammability standards and therefore posing a serious burn risk.
The styles included in the recall include Beachwave, 76″ x 24″ in blue/coral/yellow, and Brushstroke Oblong; 76″ x 24″, blue, red, neutral, and green. The scarves are 100% rayon with a machine-rolled hem. “IVANKA TRUMP” is embroidered in silver on a black label sewn to the edge of the scarves.
Between October 2014 and January 2016, the scarves were sold in Century 21, Lord & Taylor, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Stein Mart stores nationwide. The scarves were also sold on line during the same time frame at amazon.com and Loehmanns.com.

Trump Scarves Made in China
While Donald Trump has made trade with other nations and the detriment of out-sourcing American jobs overseas huge parts of his platform as a Presidential candidate, his daughter’s line of Chinese manufactured scarves is being recalled for not meeting United States flammability standards. Trump has addressed in speeches that his own line of ties and suits is manufactured in China, saying, “It’s very hard to have apparel made in this country.” He has yet to openly address the recall or the failure of Chinese manufacturers to meet United States guidelines regarding flammability in this or any other Trump branded apparel.
