Messa & Associates Welcomes Established Attorney, David Colleran, to the Firm.

David Colleran, Esq.

Philadelphia, PA – November 6th, 2023

Messa & Associates is excited to announce the newest attorney joining the firm, David. J. Colleran. He brings his outstanding commitment to advocating for clients who have suffered life-altering injuries due to medical malpractice, defective products, hazardous premises, negligent operation of motor vehicles, and workplace accidents.

Colleran’s career spans an impressive 24 years, during most of which he co-operated a private firm. He is known for his relentless dedication to his clients, representing them with fervor in various courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including federal district courts and appellate courts. What sets his career apart is his knack for achieving remarkable outcomes in jurisdictions where such victories are uncommon.

As a lead trial attorney, Colleran boasts a remarkable track record, securing numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Colleran is an alumnus of Villanova University where he played division one baseball and went on to attend Villanova University School of Law, graduating in 1999. Following his graduation, he served as a clerk for the Honorable John P. Fullam, a federal judge in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

David spends his time out of the office with his three children and wife in the Philadelphia suburbs. A sports enthusiast, Colleran spent many years as a coach and administrator in the Radnor-Wayne Little League. He is also the creator and President of an independent travel baseball team which competed for multiple summers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. In addition, Colleran coached multiple youth basketball teams and often served as a volunteer umpire and referee. He is also involved with multiple charities, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Feeding America, The Ronald McDonald House and The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

He holds licenses to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. David is frequently a panelist on various CLE programs on topics related to personal injury litigation.

Colleran’s list of accolades includes:
