Jeep is recalling over 1 million Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators over a spontaneous fire risk, telling drivers to park outside and away from structures while the automaker works on a solution. The 2021-2025 Wranglers and Gladiators, with an estimated count of 1,076,999 affected vehicles, may have an electrical issue with the electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring that can lead to fire. Recalled vehicles should be parked outside and away from structures while Stellantis works to develop a remedy, the company said. Currently, there is no known solution to the issue, though the automaker said it “anticipates a solution no later than July.”
