The Legends of Justice Show Honoring Joseph Messa: Induction Ceremony and Broadcast
Inspired by the Legends of Labor Hall of Fame Initiative, the Legends of Justice Hall of Fame was established to honor and recognize champions of justice who, at the highest level and through the contingency fee agreement, have represented injured workers and injury victims, who may not otherwise be represented, while also creating change in the halls of justice so that others may not suffer a similar fate. The organization promotes legal advocacy and awareness to better educate workers and the public on their legal rights and resources when suffering a work-related or personal injury.
The Legends of Labor Hall of Fame Committee and the board members of the Lawyer2Lawyer Broadcast Network are proud to recognize Joseph L. Messa Jr., founder of Messa & Associates, as an inductee into the Legends of Justice Hall of Fame.
Joe was selected out of thousands of his peers by a committee of lawyers and labor leaders. The induction ceremony and broadcast aired on March 27, the episode can be found here on wwdbam.com.
Joe speaks on formative cases, compassion, team values, and fighting for justice. Messa & Associates attorneys Ashley DiLiberto, Ray Arreola, Colby Ciarrocca, Tom Sweeney, Alaina Gregorio, and Angelo Theodosopoulos join the broadcast to discuss Joe’s impactful career moments, mentorship, and leadership by example.
Ashley describes Joe’s artful approach in the courtroom and what she’s learned from him. Colby explains, “What we do is bigger than us… it takes all of us and we have one common goal, to fight for our clients.” Tom says, “I could write a book on all the things I’m proud of with this firm and Joe’s leadership,” as he recounts how Joe’s instinct led them to achieve justice for a family who lost two children in a fire due to a defective product. Joe shared, “Making a difference in people’s lives and making things safer for those who have been harmed by corporate wrongdoers, by negligence, by bad medicine,” is what keeps him passionate about his work. Thank you to the Legends of Labor Hall of Fame Committee and Joe Dougherty for this great honor and congratulations to Joe Messa on this well-deserved recognition.
