Temple University Hospital’s last of 64 patients from the May 12th Amtrak derailment that killed eight and injured over 200 left the hospital this past Tuesday, 77 days after the crash took place. A spokeswoman from the hospital would not identify the patient’s injuries or whether or not the patient was sent home or to another facility for additional treatment.
Authorities are still looking for answers to questions surrounding the cause of May 12th’s fatal crash and a representative of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said it might be a year before any conclusion can be reached.
