Exaggerations of physical limitations can come back to hurt a case, especially in this day and age with the use of surveillance and the retrieval of Facebook photos and videos. A plaintiff’s case can be turned upside down if they claim they can no longer spend an hour on their feet but a private investigator obtains video surveillance proving otherwise.
