Messa & Associates Welcomes Attorney, Paul D. Brandes
PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 20, 2022
Messa & Associates is pleased to welcome attorney, Paul D. Brandes, Esq. to our Philadelphia catastrophic injury law firm. Joining the firm as a partner, Mr. Brandes brings over 30 years of experience representing injured victims in cases involving medical malpractice and birth injury, defective products, premises liability, civil rights violations, and tractor-trailer and motor vehicle crashes. Among his many clients in medical negligence cases are the parents of infants and children who were the victims of birth trauma or who were the victims of medical or nursing negligence during their newborn, toddler or adolescent years.
Mr. Brandes attended Temple University’s law school in Philadelphia, and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C., and has also represented many clients in major cases in several other states around the country. He has been named a Philadelphia Super Lawyer every year for more than a decade.
Mr. Brandes surpasses expectations when it comes to getting the best outcome for his clients and is known to be a very thorough and methodical attorney in litigation and the courtroom.
Paul also represented victims of environmental disasters and toxic torts. He was one of the lead attorneys prosecuting a mass toxic tort/environmental pollution lawsuit and subsequently secured a $27.8 million settlement for over 800 property owners.
Paul is a long-time member of the American Association for Justice and its Birth Trauma Litigation Group. He is also a longstanding member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA). Paul sat on the Board of Directors of PTLA for several years, including on its Executive Board as Assistant Secretary. Additionally, since 2013, Paul has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
