Stellantis has initiated a recall of approximately 1,076,999 vehicles in the US due to a power steering system defect that could increase the risk of fire. Separately, Stellantis has also recalled an additional 17,277 vehicles in the US due to a battery pack defect that could cause fires, even with the ignition off. Last month, the group had already recalled over 419,000 vehicles for an issue related to the improper deployment of side airbags, according to Reuters.
