About Ms. Tyner

Chelsea E. Tyner, a second-generation attorney, received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ. She began her undergraduate coursework at Howard University, later transferring to Stockton University where she earned her bachelor's degree. She has always felt a strong responsibility to serve her local community in South Jersey, Washington, D.C., and now Philadelphia through community outreach and volunteering with local churches.

Prior to joining Messa & Associates, Ms. Tyner worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Terrence R. Cook for the Superior Court of New Jersey. In that role she provided recommended dispositions ahead of pre-trial motion hearings and drafted corresponding court orders and opinions. Ms. Tyner also managed documentation and correspondence for pro se defendant matters.
