Twelve Messa & Associates Attorneys Named to Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, and Top 100 Lists, Firm Features Client Stories on www.WhyMessa.com

Philadelphia personal injury attorneys at Messa & Associates, P.C. proudly announce that six of the firm’s attorneys have been selected to the 2018 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list, one of those six has been selected as Top 100 in Philadelphia and Top 100 in Pennsylvania, and an additional six Messa & Associates attorneys were named to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list for 2018. That means that 12 of the firm’s 14 attorneys have been recognized by Super Lawyers – an honor granted to less than five percent of the attorneys in Pennsylvania.

Founding partner, Joseph L. Messa, Jr., appears on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list for the tenth consecutive year. Mr. Messa is also recognized as Top 100 Philadelphia and Top 100 Pennsylvania six years running. Mr. Messa is an AV-rated attorney (highest rating available), listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and focuses his practice on significant medical malpractice and drug product injuries.

Firm Partner, Richard Heleniak, is an AV-rated attorney (highest rating available), listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He concentrates his practice in complex personal injury matters, including medical malpractice and products liability cases. This is his 12th appearance on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list.

Firm Partner, Irene McLafferty, is recognized on the Super Lawyers list for the eighth consecutive year, after previously being named to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list in 2005. She has more than 20 years of trial experience in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, and premises liability.

Managing Partner, Lee Rosenfeld, has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list every year since 2012. Mr. Rosenfeld’s primary practice area is serious personal injury litigation, including automobile/trucking accidents, workplace accidents, premises liability, and railroad/FELA cases.

This year marks Thomas N. Sweeney’s fifth consecutive selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list, having been named to the Rising Stars list every year since 2006. He was also selected as Top 100 Philadelphia! Mr. Sweeney concentrates his practice on complex personal injury matters including premises liability, fire and burn injuries, and products liability cases.
Jenimae Almquist received her first selection to the Super Lawyers list this year. Ms. Almquist is an accomplished litigator of complex, large scale catastrophic injury cases. She largely focuses her practice on medical malpractice cases, with a smaller focus on premises liability and nursing home abuse.

SELECTIONS TO PA SUPER LAWYERS RISING STARS

This year marks Justin Groen’s first selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Justin focuses his practice on medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and drug products/medical device liability.
 

This year, Ramon A. Arreola received his fifth consecutive nomination to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Mr. Arreola focuses much of his practice on products liability, construction accidents, and transportation cases.

Brett Furber, a former homicide prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, has established a strong practice at Messa & Associates representing crime victims in civil court. This year marks his first selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

Angelo Theodosopoulos celebrates his fourth nomination to the PA Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Mr. Theodosopoulos focuses his practice in medical malpractice, motor vehicle collisions, and products liability.
 

Megan Kwak has received her first selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Miss Kwak litigates complex catastrophic injury cases in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, and nursing home abuse and neglect.
 

Jennifer Gomez Hardy is part of the motor vehicle and premises liability team, focusing her practice on securing settlements for victims of motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, and workplace injuries. This year marks Ms. Hardy’s first selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
