In a February 28 press release by the company, ALDI announced a voluntary recall of Fusia Szechuan Stir Fry due to potential Listeria contamination.
ALDI’s supplier notified the company of the possible contamination and ALDI immediately replied in an abundance of caution by removing the affected product from freezer shelves.
The recalled product is packaged in a 21 oz. bag with a printed best-by date of 6/14/18 and UPC code: 041498178864. Fortunately, no illnesses have been reported and no other ALDI products have been affected.
In their statement, ALDI assured customers that, “ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously.” Customers affected by the recall are asked to discard the product immediately or return it to their local ALDI store for a full refund.
