It is being reported that several brands of bottled water are being voluntarily recalled due to the possible presence of E. coli. Niagara Bottling states that E. coli bacteria was found in the water supply on June 10, 2015 which can be harmful and potentially deadly to individuals with compromised immune systems and children.
According to Niagara Bottling LLC, the spring source at the heart problem did not notify the bottling company in a timely manner. As a result, the company says they have severed ties with the spring source in question and are issuing a voluntary recall of all potentially contaminated bottles as a precaution. All products produced at the Hamburg, PA and Allentown, PA facilities from June 10, 2015 through June 18, 2015 are included. A complete list of recalled products by code can be found here.
