Wendy Black Dorn is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, earning her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing in 2001 and 2005, respectively. In addition to her Nursing degrees, Ms. Black also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Anthropology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
For the last 18 years, Ms. Black has held numerous positions in healthcare and education. As a nurse and nurse practitioner, she has provided direct pre- and post-natal care to patients at Pennsylvania Hospital, The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Lankenau Hospital. As an educator, Ms. Black Dorn has served as a Clinical Faculty member at The University of Pennsylvania, and as a Course Director at The University of Pennsylvania and Harcum College School of Nursing.
At Messa & Associates, Wendy Black Dorn will serve as a Legal Nurse Consultant to all of the attorneys, working to locate and identify medical negligence in client claims.
